The Department of Homeland Security Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Program Office is expected to release a competitive RFP as early as late next week.
This new Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) requirement will involve the ability to review and analyze the design and specification of operational testing as it relates to the HSIN Program; conduct end to end testing to validate the functionality as it relates to the HSIN Program; collaborate with development teams to address and resolve identified issues as it relates to the HSIN Program ; provide regular progress reports and status updates on the testing process as it relates to the HSIN Program; and conduct regression testing to ensure that resolved issues do not impact other functionalities as it relates to the HSIN Program.
