This is a multi-award IDIQ contract designed to support FAA by modernizing, integrating, and sustaining its mission-critical systems.

Contract Value: $1.2B over  8 years
Incumbent: Veracity Engineering, LS Technologies, and Noblis

Background

Communications infrastructure and services are vital to operation of the National Airspace System (NAS) as well as the FAA’s administrative and mission support functions. EPICS II will provide contractor support services for the FAA’s Communications, Information, Network Programs (CINP) organization, Data Communications (DataComm) program and the Telecommunications Integrated Services (TIS) organization.

The EPICS II contractors will support engineering solutions as well as the operation, testing, maintenance, upgrade and deployment of highly complex communications and network systems. The EPICS II Statement of Work (SOW) (provided as Section C of the DSIR) describes the type of services envisioned under seven (7) distinct Functional Areas (FAs) as follows:

  • System Engineering;
  • Program Management Support;
  • In-Service Management and Support;
  • Business and Financial Management
  • Information Systems Development and Support;
  • Studies, Analyses, and Evaluations; and
  • Administrative Support.
