The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OI&T) has awarded Sierra7, Inc. a $104M Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Services contact to support the Benefits and Memorials Services (BAM) Services Portfolio. This contract was issued under VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology-Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle. The BAM Services Portfolio delivers world-class, innovative systems that ensure reliable, secure, and seamless delivery of benefits and services directly to Veterans and their families. BAM Services Portfolio has seven product lines that serve the Veterans Benefits Administration, the Board of Veterans Appeals, and the National Cemetery Administration. Sierra7 will deliver IV&V services to the Compensation & Pension (C&P) product line.

The BAM product releases supported by this IV&V contract will reduce reliance on legacy systems, integrate and enhance information exchange with the DoD, provide additional automation processes, and improve electronic claims processing.

Specific support activities include planning, monitoring, and managing all IV&V tasks, integration testing, end-to-end testing of the products in various environments, as well as performance and load testing on all C&P products. “We have been a trusted IV&V partner to VA BAM for the past 10 years” said Gina Gallagher, the Chief Growth Officer for Sierra7. “Our team looks forward to continuing our partnership and providing the IV&V expertise that will enable BAM to achieve their goal of modernizing the delivery of benefits to Veterans through automation and innovation.”
