Nava is thrilled to announce that we have won two new contracts with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to support their ambitious goal to improve the quality of care in our healthcare system. We’re honored CMS entrusted us to support these important systems serving tens of millions of people and disburse billions of dollars in critical benefits.

Improving the experience of Medicare beneficiaries with CMS Care Choice Experience 2.0
Nava has been awarded a five-year, $23 million contract with CMS for their Care Choice Experience 2.0 (CCXP2) initiative. CCXP2 makes it easier for 62 million Medicare beneficiaries to compare and choose healthcare providers. We look forward to continuing to simplify and improve the experience millions of Medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers have when choosing providers.

We’re looking forward to supporting CMS to build on Care Compare, the eMedicare initiative that provides Medicare beneficiaries or their caregivers with an intuitive search and compare experience. CMS launched the Care Compare website in September 2020, which combined eight different healthcare comparison tools into a single product.
Previously, Nava supported CMS through our vendor partner Oddball by building the Medicare Authenticated Experience, combining seven different websites into a unified, online experience. By making quick, incremental improvements, we will continue improving the Care Choice Experience for millions of medicare beneficiaries and their caregivers.
Helping build and operate scalable infrastructure for CMS Medicare Payment System Modernization
Nava is excited to be trusted with continuing to support CMS as they create a flexible, scalable system that serves millions of Americans and accounts for 14 percent of the national budget. Through this four-year, $16.8 million contract, we’ll continue working with CMS to provide infrastructure operations and site reliability services for Medicare Payment System Modernization’s (MPSM) cloud-based services, which are responsible for processing over 1 billion dollars in claims each year, accounting for 4 percent of the total US economy.
Nava’s team will continue providing DevSecOps, infrastructure support, and technical coordination to Application Development Organizations in the MPSM program as CMS moves towards modernizing Medicare’s Fee-for-Service systems.
