Maveris received a contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Office of Information Security (OIS) to support VA with Periodic Assessment of Risk Support (PARS). This $71M, 5-year contract was awarded through VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) contract vehicle. Maveris was one of seven bidders vying for this work.
PARS ensures continued compliance and oversight of the security control objectives to support Federal regulatory requirements and governance. Our team will work with VA to perform multiple types of security reviews, assessments, and evaluations to determine readiness and overall risk posture of VA systems and its High Value Assets (HVA). Team Maveris will help enable VA to execute its responsibilities under 44 U.S. Code § 3554, NIST RMF, FISMA, and Executive Order 14028. This will ensure that security and privacy controls are implemented properly and operating as intended to minimize the exposure of VA systems and information to high risks of security incidents that seriously impact VA networks and information.
