Background
The Oklahoma City Area (OCA), Indian Health Services (IHS) has a requirement for third party maintenance and technical support for our Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications system that includes the existing Cisco Unified Communication Manager and associated components installed with the OCA region providing services to 16 facilities. The Oklahoma City Area has requirements for more efficient and proactive ways to manage its increasingly large, complex enterprise VoIP telecommunications system, while ensuring the stability, security and speed needed to support mission-critical operations and other business functions. The purpose of this Statement of Work is to acquire technical support and maintenance for the OCA’s VoIP systems as a managed service plan for a fixed monthly rate. The ongoing support and maintenance services provide expertise for Cisco-based collaboration systems; thereby allowing the OCA to focus on its core mission. This support will augment existing Oklahoma City Area’s onsite Information Technology (IT) personnel who serve as frontline staff to support end users. The Cisco support and maintenance will provide and help the OCA achieve cost-effective operations and administration of its telecommunication infrastructure, provide predictable equipment and personnel-related costs, reduce operating and maintenance costs, and minimize expenses and unscheduled outages that can arise from unexpected incidents and complex VoIP telecommunication problems. Oklahoma City Area has a collaboration solution that includes Cisco Unified Communication Manager (Unified CM) and Cisco Unity Connection (UCXN Voicemail). There are an estimated 3000 devices supported devices. OCA uses Jabber as an alternate mechanism for communication. OCA has a Cisco Collaboration Flex Plan for FedRAMP in place and will be maintaining. OCA uses the IHS FedRAMP instance of WebEx for licensing and does not use the licenses under the Flex Plan.
The Ask
The requestor is specifically seeking a partner that can support the following areas:
6.3.1. Cisco Gold Certification.
6.3.2. The Contractor shall have Cisco Certified Engineers and support personnel enough to meet the desired services outlines in Section 2. This should include but not limited to certifications sufficient to meet the needs outlined above such as CCNP Collaboration.
6.3.3. The Contractor shall have minimal 5 years of experience working with Cisco Collaboration systems and services.
6.3.4. The Contractor must comply and meet Federal requirements to obtain IHS credentials and administrative level access (ALT card access) for applicable staff. This will require a background check. These obtained credentials will need to be maintained throughout the period of performance.
