We are thrilled to announce that Allen Goetsch, PMP has joined our team as Vice President of Engineering! With a remarkable career spanning over two decades, including pivotal roles at Apple, Allen brings a dynamic perspective to Oddball.
Having previously served as a Senior Operations Program Leader at Apple, Allen spearheaded multi-million dollar cross-functional international projects, guiding them from conception to successful completion. His expertise in software and hardware engineering, UX/UI engineering, and machine learning, is underpinned by a mastery of Agile development practices. His approach to management is deeply aligned with the values of innovation, sustainability, and guided by a strong commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
He brings strategic acumen in leading diverse teams across various geographical locations, which has proven essential in driving projects that demand robust security, compliance, and innovative solutions. Allen’s exceptional ability to scale engineering teams is demonstrated by his success in growing Apple’s Hardware Engineering Tools and Data Analytics department to over 270 professionals across multiple global locations. Additionally, he established the inaugural Apple Manufacturing R&D Accelerator in South Korea, focusing on cutting-edge Industry 4.0 technologies. This project not only advanced technological innovation but also supported small manufacturing businesses, showcasing Allen’s commitment to impactful leadership.
