In support of the overall NAVIFOR N6 mission set, the Navy requires the highest level of Navy enterprise management and technical support in the areas of: Emergent/future technology modernization; Data analytics/management/science; Application development; Performance planning/improvements; Cybersecurity readiness; Assessment and Authorizations (A&A); IT portfolio management; NMCI/ONE-Net readiness, sustainment, and convergence; Domain IT service delivery; IT Service Management; Shore transformation/integration; and headquarter IT support.
The contractor shall provide strategic planning and project management support across the NAVIFOR N6 portfolio, to include overall task management, integrated planning, strategic communications, technical, and administrative support functions. NAVIFOR N6 mission execution will require an integrated support team that can balance, integrate, align, and synthesize long term strategic objectives with the execution of near term programs, projects and plans.
Strategic Planning and Project Management support activities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct project planning and execution to include task planning milestones and timelines, coordination of activities across internal and external stakeholders, executive briefings and supporting documentation across all NAVIFOR mission areas.
- Support the development of project requirements to ensure the business and functional requirements are complete and well defined.
- Facilitate the effective alignment of IT requirements/ Information Resource Management (IRM) plans with strategic business plans and program initiatives.
