NAVAIR Sources Sought: P-8A Advanced Survivability Pod (ASP) Integration Design, Development, and Software Testing

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), Program Executive Office (PEO) Assault (A), Maritime Patrol and Reconnaissance Aircraft Program Office (PMA-290) is seeking information from industry on the capability of designing, developing, and testing software and ancillary hardware necessary for the integration of the Advanced Survivability Pod (ASP) onto the P-8A platform as well as providing the requisite knowledge, technical data and engineering support to perform this effort.

The Boeing P-8A team, consisting of the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) and Integrated Development Systems (IDS) Divisions, is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer, and integrator of the P-8A aircraft. The P-8A weapons system consists of a Boeing 737-800 ERX air vehicle modified to meet Navy requirements, to include systems and subsystems for avionics, communications, and mission and weapon capabilities.

The anticipated period of performance for this effort is Q3 FY25 through Q4 FY28.
