The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), in particular, immediate staff of the Command Flag Office (V00) and direct reporting teams, the NAVAIR Corporate Operations Group (V1), the Business Financial Management Competency (BMFC), Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) front office and the NAVAIR Washington Liaison Office (WLO) have requirements for the Command Strategic leadership Services team, to include research and analysis, strategic initiative support, executive leadership management support, administrative, operational and technical program support.
Research and Analysis Support (O&M,N)-Provide research and analysis support on internal and external issues in support of NAVAIR leadership, its resource sponsors, and fleet partners as identified in individual task orders:
Provide research on the current philosophy and strategic initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD), Department of the Navy (DoN), and the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) including the Naval Aviation Enterprise (NAE) as well as the other services. Analyze the higher-level guidance and identify impacts and opportunities to NAVAIR, NAE and/or Department of Navy (DoN). Identify actions necessary for NAVAIR’s continued alignment with DoD and DoN Leadership thinking. Conduct organizational, resource management and other strategic level research studies.
- Research contemporary industry and government management philosophies. Perform benchmarking to determine “best practices” on a variety of corporate management processes and procedures.
