Nava is honored to have won an unrestricted prime award on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ (HHS) Office of Grants Software Integration and Frontend Technology (SWIFT) bulk purchasing agreement (BPA). This five-year, $100M contract vehicle award enables us to continue supporting HHS’ Office of Grants’ (OG) critical work, which impacts states, nonprofits, and community organizations across the country.
HHS provides over $500 billion in federal grants each year, making it the largest grantmaking agency in the U.S. As a public benefit corporation striving to make government services simple, effective, and accessible to all, we’re thrilled to offer HHS our expertise in human-centered design and agile methodology to help improve the experience of applying for and managing grants.
“After working with HHS for a year on modernizing Grants.gov and partnering with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) for nearly a decade, we’re excited to continue this important partnership as a prime contractor,” said Marvin McLain, Nava’s FedHealth Portfolio Director. “We’ve spoken to states and organizations across the country who’ve shared their aspirations and challenges, and are deeply committed to supporting work to make grants more accessible to underserved populations.”
Last year, Nava began work with HHS to help redesign Grants.gov, a website that is the front door for grants across the federal government and disburses more than $500 billion in grants every year. We’re excited to find new ways to collaborate with the Office of Grants under the SWIFT BPA. We’ll support their work overseeing federal grantmaking, offering training and development to grantees, and operating Grants.gov, where over ten million people find and apply for federal grants.
