This opportunity to lead our exceptional acquisition workforce comes at an exciting time as we continue advancing NASA’s mission through strategic partnerships with industry.
I want to express my sincere gratitude to Karla Smith Jackson, whose remarkable 34-year career and outstanding leadership over the past four and a half years have strengthened our procurement capabilities immeasurably. Her expertise and dedication have set a high standard that I am committed to upholding.
Since joining NASA in 2008, I have had the opportunity of working alongside talented professionals across our geographically dispersed centers. From leading the Procurement Strategic Operations Division to overseeing enterprise transformations across our acquisition workforce, these experiences have positioned me to navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead.
Our procurement organization plays a critical role in enabling NASA’s groundbreaking work, from supporting missions that expand human knowledge to fostering innovation through industry collaboration. I look forward to continuing this vital work and building on the strong foundation we have established.
Thank you to Deputy Associate Administrator Casey Swails and the entire NASA leadership team for entrusting me with this role. I look forward to what we will accomplish together.
