He brings more than three decades of leadership experience to Magma Space, including his service as the U.S. Space Force’s Acting Chief Technology and Innovation Officer (CTIO) and Acting Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Cyber and Data (SF/S6). His background in space systems, cybersecurity, technology integration, and mission-focused strategy will help strengthen Magma’s technical foundation, customer engagement, and growth.
During his SkillBridge fellowship with us, Nate helped shape our strategy and frame our technology to respond to DoW and NASA solicitations, bringing a proactive, hands-on approach that made an immediate impact on the team.

Nathan serves as the CIO and Director of Growth at Magma Space, advancing technology strategy, information architecture, business development, and strategic partnerships that turn complex space capabilities into tangible customer and mission outcomes. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience across the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force in cyber, space, intelligence, data, enterprise technology, and operational strategy. Most recently, I served as Acting Deputy Chief of Space Operations for Cyber and Data, providing strategic leadership for the U.S. Space Force cyber and data enterprise. At Magma Space, Nathan is helping build the technical, cybersecurity, and commercial foundations required to deliver trusted, ultra-stable capabilities to commercial, civil, and national-security customers.
