Tysons, Va.— LMI, a leader in supply chain risk management (SCRM), has been awarded a contract to develop the Supply Chain Risk Evaluation Environment (SCREEn) capability for the Department of Defense (DoD) Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO).

Valued at $43 million, this contract will provide enhanced SCRM capabilities by integrating U.S. Government data with commercially and publicly available information. SCREEn implementation will strengthen and streamline decision-making processes across the DoD, ultimately enabling a logistics decision advantage.

Leveraging its LogSmart Supply framework, LMI initially developed SCREEn to generate decision-ready supply chain resiliency analytics for the F-35 Joint Program Office. In partnership with CDAO, LMI established data integration and analytic visualization environments spanning non-classified and classified environments. These efforts enabled supply chain risk identification, risk prioritization, and mitigation modeling for the department.

The latest contract expands SCREEn across the DoD by incorporating more users, weapon systems, and data, bringing logistics decision-making benefits to additional organizations including the Defense Logistics Agency, the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency, and the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment.

“LMI is proud to support the Department of Defense in its mission to mitigate supply chain risks,” said Jon Baba, senior vice president, defense market. “We recognize that supply chains directly impact readiness. Leveraging our SCRM tools, deep logistical expertise, and innovative artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) capabilities, SCREEn will foster valuable insights and courses of action that enhance the readiness of the F-35 and other critical platforms.”

Focused on the most critical national defense platforms and supply chains, SCREEn implementation will provide unparalleled end-to-end supply chain risk evaluation capabilities and enhanced operational effectiveness for the warfighter. LMI’s commitment to delivering innovative solutions at the pace of need and harnessing the power of AI/ML will ensure success as SCREEn expands across the DoD.
