This 8(a) small business IT and Management Consulting firm, and an emerging partner to the OCIO within Treasury and the Internal Revenue Service is seeking a partner (large or small) who has direct past performance with Software AG Alfabet SaaS solution, which includes built-in enterprise architecture capabilities that describe complex IT systems in terms of their business, application, information, and technical layers and helps develop standards for change.
This is about an RFI posted by the IRS earlier this week on GSA eBuy. Complete details as provided by the requestor are below.
“The IRS has a need for an EA holistic, cloud-based solution that replaces the requirements and functionality of existing legacy tools, repositories, and processes. Software AG Alfabet has been selected as the new platform, and IRS will provide the software to the selected Contractor for implementation in the IRS environment. The scope of the work requires the Contractor to create Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC) documents, establish the cloud-based Alfabet operating environments, install and configure Alfabet, perform analysis and data services, secure an IRS Authority to Operate (ATO), provide training to IRS staff, and provide ongoing Operations and Maintenance of the new environment and software. The solution provided must improve the EA As-Built Architecture (ABA) and Product Standardization Plan (PSP) Automation Framework under ES Technology Strategy Management (TSM) Team for Infrastructure Platform Strategy & Services (IPSS) Team.”
