The title has special meaning for me because it hits exactly where I want to be and where I want the future of HR to be in this space: total workforce. Humans, machines, and how they partner. (Chandra, Mika, thank you for all the great discussions on this!!)
We are at an inflection point. AI is reshaping how we work faster than most organizations can absorb. The gaps between the technology being deployed and human understanding of how to use it effectively are widening. Leaders are being asked to make transformation decisions without a full understanding of not just what the tools do, but what they are for.
I’ve spent my career working to close those gaps with data, analytics, and AI. I’ve led transformation at scale in one of the largest and most complex organizations in the world, built analytics programs from scratch, and advised the Army’s most senior leadership on the future of the workforce. At IBR, I’ll bring that experience to bear, helping leaders navigate their workforce transformation with clarity, confidence, and a tech-informed human-first lens.
Kris most recently served as strategy lead for AskArmyHR, along with PEO-Enterprise, overseeing the evaluation of emerging technologies and the design of business processes for the Army’s upcoming multi-agentic HR engagement platform and advising the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower & Reserve Affairs) on people, experience, and technology integration to enable modern, Soldier-centered HR solutions.
