Fairfax, Virginia 6/25/2024: i3 LLC, an innovative provider of IT services, is proud to announce its selection as an awardee on the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) Information Technology Supplies and Support Services (ITSSS-2) contract. This $8 billion contract, the largest IT contract vehicle ever established by the FBI, will serve as the primary means for acquiring critical IT services over the next eight years.
The story of i3 LLC is deeply rooted in the American Dream. In 1979, our founder’s family fled Vietnam on a tiny fishing boat after the Communist regime released his father from prison, where he had been tortured for years due to his allegiance to the American Army and the values of freedom and democracy. The family faced numerous perils at sea and endured a shipwreck before finding refuge in Indonesia. In 1980, through the sponsorship of a church in California, they immigrated to the United States. Despite growing up in poverty, they were filled with joy and gratitude for the freedom and opportunities that America provided.
Our founder is passionate about the FBI’s mission to protect freedom, civil liberty, and national security. After a successful career with the Bureau, he left in 2014 and started i3 LLC with the sole focus of supporting these critical missions.
ITSSS-2 will streamline acquisition procedures and provide a vetted vendor pool for the FBI, allowing for more efficient establishment of call orders. The contract will also be available for use by all Department of Justice (DOJ) components, fostering continued collaboration. A total of 95 awardees, comprising 31 large and 64 small businesses, will bring their robust expertise to partner with the FBI in advancing technology services.
