Earlier this week, the Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Information and Technology Enterprise Data Management and Engineering Directorate posted an RFI on GSA eBuy seeking Data Center Support Services (DCSS), with a focus on the areas of Enterprise Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure, Enterprise Architecture, and Common Services, for all CBP Divisions & Offices.
CBP OIT data center processing is performed at multiple data centers within the continental United States, and they utilize public cloud service providers (e.g., Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform and Azure), which the Contractor shall support and further develop during the life of this contract. CBP requires DCSS to provide the OIT with support in all aspects of information technology, and they anticipate downsizing DCSS throughout the duration of the task order as services are transitioned to a cloud environment, which is planned via the Enterprise Cloud and Integration Services (ECIS) requirement. Some of the technologies known to currently be in use on this effort include Micro Focus SiteScope and Application Performance Management, IBM Netcool Operation Insights, OMNIbus and Tivoli Monitoring, Splunk, Apica, Application Dynamics, NetApp and Brocade.
