Heartland Consulting Awarded Task Order to Provide Records Management Support Services for the Bureau of Indian Affairs

Heartland Consulting has been awarded a new task order to support the Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) under the Department of the Interior (DOI). Over the next four years, Heartland Consulting will provide comprehensive Records Management Support Services for BIA’s Division of Facilities, Management, and Construction (DFMC). This includes managing the electronic records filing system for construction and repair projects and ensuring compliance with federal information security standards.

Federal records management encompasses a broad range of activities and practices to ensure that federal records are properly created, managed, and preserved throughout their lifecycle. Heartland’s records management expertise will enhance DFMC’s compliance to ensure that records are managed efficiently and efficiently, supporting transparency and accountability in support of BIA’s mission to serve federally recognized tribes.
