Gunnison Consulting Group, Inc. (“Gunnison”) today announced that it has been awarded a $14 million, three-year contract by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide comprehensive cybersecurity support for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Cybersecurity Program Office’s (CSPO).
Under this contract, Gunnison will support a comprehensive enterprise cybersecurity program, fostering a Zero Trust security culture, enhancing IT governance, and ensuring compliance with federal cybersecurity mandates. Gunnison’s role includes identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, integrating advanced cybersecurity capabilities like Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR), and supporting audits to strengthen the CDC’s defense of its IT systems and sensitive data.
