Kevin Brancato has announced the launch of HitchAI, a new company focused on providing AI-driven strategic intelligence for the federal contracting market.
Brancato shared that he departed his role leading product strategy at TechnoMile at the end of June to launch the new venture. According to his announcement, the decision was driven by his belief that federal contractors need more advanced strategic intelligence capabilities than are currently available in the market.
HitchAI is positioned as an AI-native platform designed to bring together federal budget and contract information into a single environment for strategic analysis. Among the capabilities highlighted are an AI assistant that combines budget and contract data to answer complex business questions, customizable analysis of contract transactions, and tools that connect Department of Defense budget information to specific programs, projects, and activities while tracking those items through the congressional process.
Brancato also noted that the platform is built on structured government data, including agency hierarchies, vendor parent company relationships, private equity ownership, contract vehicles, other transaction authorities (OTAs), and Congressional Budget Justification documents.
In addition to the software platform, HitchAI plans to offer strategic advisory services to a limited number of executive leadership teams, helping organizations evaluate and refine their long-term federal market strategies.
The company is targeting federal contractors developing their FY27 growth strategies and has also launched The Hitch, a companion newsletter focused on government contracting intelligence.
