Title of Contract: Programmatic and Logistics Support Services for the NDU Capstone Education Program
PURPOSE: To provide senior leadership and guidance to the newly selected general and flag officers during their attendance at National Defense University’s CAPSTONE General and Flag Officer Courses, herein referred to as the CAPSTONE Education Program. The National Defense University (NDU) requires contractor support in the execution of its CAPSTONE curriculum. The contractor shall provide newly selected general and flag officers with retired 3-4 stars/E9 (otherwise referred to as Contractor-provided Senior Fellows) support that offers: (1) access to senior military and civilian leadership worldwide through the Senior Fellows accumulated past relationships, (2) the ability to receive mentorship from those that have come before them, and (3) prospective after years of reflection from these military leaders that retired at the top. The lessons learned, senior leadership, and guidance provided by the Senior Fellows serves as a sounding board for new ideas and provides a reach back capability to enable life-long learning that shall be passed along to the newly selected general and flag officers during their attendance as part of this program.
