eSimplicity selected to address fraud, waste, abuse, and mismanagement of pandemic relief spending.
The Pandemic Analytics Center of Excellence (PACE) has announced eSimplicity as an awardee of the Pandemic Response Accountability Committee (PRAC) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) from the Council of the Inspector General on Integrity and Efficiency (CIGIE). The PRAC BPA was awarded to a select cohort of innovative small businesses to strengthen the PACE with advanced data analytic, management, and investigative tools to help root out historical levels of fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) in more than $5 trillion in pandemic-related emergency spending. eSimplicity will provide PACE with the tools, expertise, and enhancements needed to ensure that pandemic response funds are used for their intended purpose.
eSimplicity’s strategists, engineers, and scientists will bring modern DataOps and advanced analytics, including advanced Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI), that will give PACE an effective end-to-end process for detecting, investigating, and preventing FWA. Our strategy ensures OIGs and its stakeholders assess and leverage shared services and investments using consistent and innovative approaches to technology and analytics. These services will result in better user-resource utilization and decision-making for OIG investigators and the law enforcement agencies.
Phillip Pham, eSimplicity’s Data and Analytics VP, shared that the company is energized by the opportunity to help identify individuals who defraud pandemic relief programs, so that funds can be returned to aid America’s recovery from the pandemic. Phillip added that the team will leverage its experience in applying advanced AI technologies in its Intelligence space at the DoD and its FWA mission at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services to quickly start and effectively drive the PRAC efforts.
