The Department of War Cyber Crime Center is planning a follow-on requirement for Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) professional support services.
The effort is focused on providing technical, engineering, and program support to augment DC3’s mission supporting cyber forensics, investigations, training, and analytics across the Department of Defense.
The scope centers on:
- Systems engineering and technical analysis
- Research, development, test, and evaluation support
- Program integration and technical project management
- Architecture, modernization, and system sustainment
- Cyber operations and intelligence analysis
The work supports a range of mission areas, including cybersecurity, critical infrastructure protection, law enforcement and counterintelligence, document and media exploitation, and counterterrorism.
Key activities include:
- Engineering studies, analysis of alternatives, and capability assessments
- Integration and sustainment of systems and infrastructure
- Change management, release management, and DevOps support
- Test engineering across system lifecycles
- Cyber intelligence analysis and technical reporting
The requirement calls for a cleared workforce, including personnel with Top Secret and SCI eligibility, across roles such as cybersecurity engineers and program management support.
This is a services-heavy SETA effort, focused on advisory, engineering, and analytical support rather than product delivery.
Firms that should pay attention include those with:
- Cybersecurity engineering and analysis experience
- DoD program support and SETA experience
- Background in cyber operations, forensics, or intelligence support
- Cleared workforce capable of supporting classified environments
This effort represents a continuation of ongoing support to DC3’s mission and is expected to follow a traditional services-based delivery model.
