In response to Screening Information Request (SIR) #692M15-21-R-00001 for the FAA’s Information Technology Innovative Procurement for Strategic Sourcing (ITIPSS) multiple-award IDIQ, the FAA has made award to fourteen (14) Offerors in the four response categories listed below on May 21, 2024. The total contract value is $2,419,300,000.00 which is a shared ceiling for all IDIQ awardees. ITIPSS is a mission critical contract vehicle from which to acquire Information Technology (IT) services and solutions for all FAA non-National Airspace System (non-NAS) IT mission support.

    Wow, the FAA needed a good IT contract vehicle to get to large businesses and they only awarded 2 slots to such firms. Amazingly short sided. I would have expected to also see GDIT, SAIC, Tetra Tech and others. The FAA has no real good IT competitive contracting vehicle for large business – and maybe you can say they still don’t.
