DHS names Amanda Day as new Deputy CISO, Deputy Executive Director

With over 16 years of progressively responsible experience in IT and Information Security roles at the Department of Homeland Security, emerging leader Amanda Day steps into the role of Deputy Chief Information Security Officer.

As a senior executive, Amanda will focus on enhancing and securing the Department’s cybersecurity posture. Her responsibilities include leading critical information security programs that support national security systems, overseeing information security policies, managing risk, and conducting security assessments, all while ensuring compliance with federal laws, executive orders, directives, policies, and regulations.
