Sometimes protests do pay off. Several months after the initial awardees were announced, two new awardees have been named as Primes on this important multiple-award total small business set-aside IDIQ out of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide a wide range of professional, scientific, and technical services to the Fisheries Domain.
Parymon Corp and JRD& Associates join a long list of awardees who will now get a chance to compete for tasks. A complete and revised list has been updated below.

Awardees are starting to be named for this important multiple-award total small business set-aside IDIQ out of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to provide a wide range of professional, scientific, and technical services to the Fisheries Domain.
The ProTech services solution is a suite of MA IDIQ contracts consisting of four Domains: Satellite, Fisheries, Oceans, and Weather. These Domains provide resources supporting the NOAA, including its Line and Staff Offices. Where applicable, the contracts may also be used by other Bureaus within the Department of Commerce (DOC). The ceiling dollar amount for all orders under all ProTech Domains is $8,000,000,000. Each Domain has its own IDIQ contract with multiple awards.
The services provided under ProTech 2.0 Fisheries will support sites worldwide, which include, but may not be limited to, Alaska, Greater Atlantic, Pacific Islands, Southeast and Caribbean, and West Coast Regions with varied requirements and surge requirements.
The suite of resulting contracts for this Domain is intended to satisfy the need for professional, technical, and scientific services to support the stewardship of the nation’s ocean resources and their habitat. NOAA Fisheries provides vital services for the nation, all backed by sound science and an ecosystem-based approach to management: productive and sustainable fisheries, safe sources of seafood, recovery and conservation of protected resources, and healthy ecosystems.
