John leads the worldwide Radio Frequency In-Transit Visibility IV (RF-ITV IV) program, a strategic capability for the Department of Defense (DoD) operating in 43 countries across every Geographic Combatant Command.
John is a proven leader who brings decades of experience leading large organizations, including vast operations, logistics, and distribution experience.
During his military career, John led Soldiers at every level of command, including multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Later in his career, he served as the Commanding General of Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Distribution, the global distribution service provider for the DoD and other Federal Agencies with more than 10,000 employees located at over 50 world-wide distribution centers, where he was responsible for $110 Billion in inventory and an annual operating budget of $2 Billion.
John also served multiple tours on the Army Staff in the Pentagon, where he was responsible for the development of logistics strategy, plans, policy, structure, and resourcing and later responsible for coordinating Army capabilities development with the Joint Staff.
