CMS taps Deputy Director (Acting) for the Center for Clinical Standards and Quality

Tamyra Garcia has been tapped to cultivate the success and growth of CCSQ Operations. CCSQ is the focal point for all quality, clinical, medical science issues, survey and certification, and policies for CMS’ programs. As Deputy Director (Acting), Center for Clinical Standards and Quality she will work to provide leadership and coordination for the development and implementation of a cohesive, CMS-wide approach to measuring and promoting quality and leads CMS’s priority-setting process for clinical quality improvement.
