CMS RFQ: Medicare Shared Savings Program Operational Support Contract

The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to obtain strategic development and implementation support for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) overall project management of the annual Medicare Shared Savings Program application cycle and compliance strategy. The Contractor tasks shall include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Project management planning and execution, risk assessment and mitigation;
  • Support of the annual application and certification process;
  • Support of the Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) Participant List/Skilled Nursing Facility Affiliate List;
  • Technical assistance to the ACOs;
  • Support of reconsiderations;
  • Development of education and outreach materials;
  • Compliance reviews to identify ACOs not meeting Shared Savings Program requirements;
  • Support CMS with Evaluating and adjudicating repayment mechanisms;
  • Monitoring of compliance activity to ensure ACOs are implementing adequate responses when considered non-compliant;
  • Support the Shared Savings Program inquiry management system and process.
