Bureau of Fiscal Service awards Data Migration Services (SelecTech) Sole Source

Notice ID: SS-MSC-25-016

The Bureau of the Fiscal Service (Fiscal Service), on behalf of Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission (MSC), 1331 Pennsylvania Ave NW, Suite 520N, Washington, D.C. 20004-1710, intends to make an award on a sole source basis for a firm-fixed-price task order to SelecTech LLC, 9658 Baltimore Ave, Suite 300, College Park, MD 20740-1346, under NAICs code 541519 for Legacy Backup Data Migration Services through Gen3i reseller (SelecTech).

The FMSHRC data is currently stored in a Commvault system, which is no longer supported. The Program Office requires thorough data migration services to transition legacy data from the End-of-Life (EOL) Commvault proprietary system to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) and a new back-up system. Because it is imperative to transfer this data to comply with federal records management policies and to maintain data integrity, FMSHRC believes using Gen3i Migration Services will ensure the most seamless transition.

SelecTech LLC is the exclusive partner of Gen3i, which has a proven track record in handling complex data migrations, proprietary compatibility to ensure minimal disruption during migration process, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. In accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a single source. (1) For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold. (i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.

The award will have (1) twelve-month base period beginning on the date of the award.
