Booz Allen awarded $82M Air Force J5 Lead System Design Integrator contract

Excited to share that Booz Allen Hamilton has been awarded the J5 Lead System Design Integrator contract—an $81.5M ceiling, firm‑fixed‑price award supporting the Air Force Test Center and the Hypersonic Test Capability Improvement project at Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC).

This win reflects the strength of our engineering talent and our ability to design, develop, and integrate technically complex systems that push the boundaries of what’s possible in next‑generation test environments. From concept development to full system integration, our teams bring deep technical expertise, disciplined systems engineering, and a mission‑first mindset to some of the nation’s most critical test and evaluation challenges.

Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, and Huntsville Alabama, and will advance critical hypersonic testing infrastructure through 2034—helping ensure the nation can test rapidly, safely, and at scale as hypersonic capabilities evolve.

A huge congratulations to the teams whose leadership, engineering rigor, and commitment to the mission made this possible. Wins like this underscore what Booz Allen does best: delivering trusted, technically advanced solutions that strengthen national defense.
