Blue Water Thinking (BWT), a strategy, management and technology consultancy, is excited to announce an expansion of our continued partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare technology portfolio!  VA recently awarded BWT a $259 Million IDIQ contract to support the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Office of Connected Care (OCC) Program Support Integration (PSI). BWT will provide OCC’s integrated technology initiatives with program management and program integration support; project release and implementation management support; communications support; and training development, delivery and implementation support. “BWT’s deep understanding of VHA operations and care delivery models will enable our efforts to reinforce VA’s mission to care for our nation’s Veterans,” said BWT CEO, Mike Cardarelli. “By augmenting OCC’s capacity to expand virtual care capabilities across the country, we will enhance VA’s ability to meet the needs of Veterans, their families and caregivers.”

“BWT is grateful to continue expanding our support of the healthcare technology portfolio of programs for VHA, ensuring continued progress towards the Under Secretary for Health’s goal of connecting Veterans to the soonest and best care available,” continued Beth Mahan, Chief Growth Officer for BWT. “Our team provides OCC PSI the necessary industry expertise to support the continued commitment to innovation and investment in transformational efforts aimed at elevating the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of personalized care delivered to Veterans.”

BWT has assembled a highly capable team that will leverage a risk-based management approach, market-leading innovations, and a Veteran-centric design mindset to support OCC’s goal of optimizing Veteran and VA clinician uptake and adoption of Connected Care technologies and service capabilities.
