Beth Maloney, former president of Palladian Partners, is the new owner and CEO of Lumina Corps, formerly NOVA Research Company, a woman-owned firm serving the communications, research, program support, and events management needs of health and science agencies. Ms. Maloney is joined by Amy Ewing, former Palladian Partners vice president, who is now COO of Lumina Corps. Ms. Ewing will oversee client delivery services, leading a senior team responsible for strategic communications, research and evaluation, science writing and events support for the National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Indian Health Service, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, among other agencies. In 1986, Peggy Young founded NOVA Research, a woman-owned small business. This weekend, Lumina’s CEO Beth Maloney attended the 10th Anniversary of An Evening for Hope for The Children's Inn at NIH, along with Lumina team members Ida Donner Konstantopoulos, CMP, VEMM, Alexandra Morelli, CMP, and Sukhman Sandhu. Over the past 10 years, An Evening for Hope has raised millions of dollars to support the patients and families who rely on The Children’s Inn’s services. This year, the event raised over $1.8 million to help The Children’s Inn continue in its mission and to further support critical biomedical research. Lumina is proud to support The Children's Inn!
Celebrating the 10th Anniversary of An Evening for Hope for The Children's Inn at NIH with Lumina Corps team members evoked a wave of emotions, and more than anything gratitude. Grateful for the opportunity to help launch this event more than a decade ago with the phenomenal staff and volunteers who have deep heartfelt commitment to the patients, families, and biomedical research at NIH. Grateful that Jennie Lucca and Fern Jennifer Stone remain steadfast in their leadership roles at the Inn and each year increase the success of this event that directly supports patients and their families when help and hope are very much needed. Grateful for the community of support, the companies and individuals—especially Todd Pantezzi—, who generously sustain the good work of the Inn. And grateful for a new generation of supporters for such a worthy cause!
