Beth Maloney, former president of Palladian Partners, is the new owner and CEO of Lumina Corps, formerly NOVA Research Company, a woman-owned firm serving the communications, research, program support, and events management needs of health and science agencies.    Ms. Maloney is joined by Amy Ewing, former Palladian Partners vice president, who is now COO of Lumina Corps. Ms. Ewing will oversee client delivery services, leading a senior team responsible for strategic communications, research and evaluation, science writing and events support for the National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Indian Health Service, and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, among other agencies.   In 1986, Peggy Young founded NOVA Research, a woman-owned small business. Ms. Young and her husband Paul Young will continue to serve clients at Lumina Corps as they participate in a smooth transition of operations.    Ms. Maloney served as president of Palladian Partners for 11 years, supporting its transition from a small woman-owned business to the largest subsidiary of Altarum Institute. Under her leadership, Palladian more than tripled in size through organic growth and expansion of digital and strategic communications services. Ms. Maloney is a board member of The Children’s Inn of NIH, serving as the immediate past chair of the board. Ms. Ewing has more than 20-years of experience in federal health communications, having most recently led strategic communications, creative, and digital communications services for Palladian Partners as its vice president of strategy.  Follow us and connect with us.
