The President of the United States made the care and support of military families a top national security policy priority. The NGB recognizes Service members, families and veterans come from the active-duty Armed Forces, the National Guard, and Reserves and are located in our communities. The Chief, National Guard Bureau has also made supporting our country during a natural or man-made disaster, civil unrest, or other emergency as one of his priorities.
This PWS supports family readiness training, certification and services support by aiding in the identification and development of family readiness training and policy, along with certification of each state’s Military Family Readiness System (MFRS). In addition, this effort supports the NGB Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI), which is dedicated to promoting a climate that is conducive to positive human relations by ensuring all members have equal access to opportunity while promoting organizational readiness.
