Aretum, a leading provider of innovative IT services and solutions to the federal government, is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the prestigious SeaPort NxG contract, the U.S. Department of the Navy’s vehicle for acquiring professional support services. This award enables Aretum to deliver a wide range of engineering and program management support services to critical Navy and Marine Corps (USMC) missions.
The SeaPort NxG contract, managed by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), is a key procurement vehicle for the Navy, supporting 23 functional areas that include engineering support services and program management support services. Through this contract, Aretum will be able to provide vital support to key Navy commands, including NAVWAR, NAVSEA, and its subordinate Naval Surface Warfare Centers (NSWCs), as well as enhance its collaboration with the Navy’s ongoing efforts in areas such as communications systems, munitions research and development, and submarine technologies.
“Aretum is excited to be onboarded to SeaPort NxG,” said Rohit Gupta, Aretum’s CEO and Operating Partner. “Being part of this contract lets Aretum directly respond to the Navy’s critical needs, building on the strong support we already provide to the Army, Air Force, and National Guard. This marks an important step in expanding our presence within the defense sector and bringing our expertise in emerging technologies to the Navy and Marine Corps.”
The SeaPort NxG contract represents a significant opportunity for businesses like Aretum to compete on an equal footing with larger contractors. The contract serves as an essential mechanism for the Navy to access highly specialized technical expertise across a broad spectrum of services. For example, the engineering services category covers 12 functional areas, including software engineering, development, programming and network support; measurement facilities, range and instrumentation support; research and development; and modeling, simulation, stimulation and analysis support. The program management services category has 11 functional areas, including financial analysis and budget support; quality assurance; professional development and training support; and logistics.
As one of the most competitive defense contracting vehicles, SeaPort NxG has attracted notable players in the industry. Despite the highly competitive landscape, businesses like Aretum continue to secure significant work in the defense contracting arena, with this award further solidifying Aretum’s reputation for delivering top-tier IT and support services.
Aretum’s addition to the SeaPort NxG vehicle will enhance its ability to respond quickly to the evolving needs of the U.S. Navy and provide mission-critical support for a variety of technical and operational challenges. From research, development, test and evaluation of advanced technologies to systems modernization and cybersecurity, Aretum’s innovative solutions will help drive the future of Navy and Marine Corps operations.
