On October 31, 2023, Advanced Management Strategies Group, Inc. (AMSG), a Veteran-owned federal government consulting firm, celebrating its 15th year in business, won a competitive recompete for the $8 million U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ Investment Oversight Enterprise Project Support (EPS) contract to support the VA’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) and its Investment Oversight and Reporting Branch (IORB) within the IT Budget and Finance Office (ITBF).
AMSG led the previous contract, formerly known as the Program Planning and Oversight (PPO) Support Services contract, with incumbent staff that brought decades of experience supporting the VA OIT ITBF and will continue to provide exceptional support to the VA for the multi-year contract.
The IORB is an organizational element of ITBF that plays a significant role in overseeing IT programs, projects, and services, ensuring they meet Office of Management and Budget (OMB) and department-level mission and goals. AMSG supports the VA’s mission and goals by providing a full suite of services, including Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), change management, portfolio and project management, budget monitoring tasks, monitoring and submitting Investment and project data to OMB, and reporting and analyzing actual performance of IT activities.
