We are looking for a Vice President – Corporate Development with a Top-Secret clearance or higher to join our growing company in Chantilly, VA!

As a Vice President – Corporate Development you will:

  • Use your extensive business development experience, spanning the entire business development continuum from opportunity identification through winning proposal development, to support a $1B+ annual proposals submitted pipeline and $1B+ annual contract awards.
  • Lead our strategic solutions strategies for national priority programs through effective business development approaches around our internal service delivery framework.
  • Lead a select internal team to identify and close strategic Acquisitions.
  • Join our Executive Team, report directly to the CEO and meet regularly with our Board of Directors.

A week in the life of a Vice President – Corporate Development:

  • Provide leadership in the oversight and management of our entire business development processes from opportunity identification and qualification, to capture, and proposal development for our government services company within our identified strategic markets.
  • Provide leadership in the management and oversight of  a team of 30+ market-facing business development professionals, who work in concert with delivery professionals to identify, qualify, and capture new business and recompete opportunities to meet or exceed company’s revenue target, as well financial goals.
  • Enhance and execute external marketing communications to strengthen the position of AMERICAN SYSTEMS as an employer of choice, contractor of choice, and partner of choice in the federal government contracting industry.
