The scope of this requirement is the sustainment and management of CFKs and CFK gateways in support of PACAF deployable command and control missions across the PACAF Area of Responsibility (AOR).
The CFK is the primary system for deployable Command and Control (C2) throughout the Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) and the Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM). The primary mission of the CFK system is to provide a robust communications suite capable of supporting PACAF missions ranging from aircraft recovery, humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, Very Important Person (VIP) communications support, agile combat employment (ACE), and integration of forward deployed forces. CFK has the capability to integrate multiple unsecured networks, secured networks, and voice into a communications system that can utilize various wide area networks ranging from terrestrial circuits, Internet, and commercial & military satellites. The CFK is a rugged, rolling, transit case, comprised of various Klas Telecom equipment and secure and non-secure Cisco routers and switches. The CFK Gateway is comprised of secure and non-secure Cisco routers. The CFK system allows the PACAF user to seamlessly transition from the base to deployed area of operations while maintaining reach back to the PACAF Enterprise Network. Additionally, PACAF CFK systems provide Continuity of Operations (COOP) backup services to several theater commands.
The scope of this requirement is the sustainment and management of CFKs and CFK gateways in support of PACAF deployable command and control missions across the PACAF Area of Responsibility (AOR). The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, and supervision to perform the sustainment and maintenance of the CFK system as defined in this PWS. The Contractor’s primary duty location is JBPHH, HI. Travel and work are required throughout the PACAF AOR.
