ROCKVILLE, Md. October 21, 2022, A Square Group LLC (ASG) announced today that it was awarded a ~$301 million contract—its largest to date—to develop open-source forward-leaning applications in the cloud using DevSecOps and Agile processes for Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Verification Information Program Engineering Resources (VIPER) system delivery.
USCIS Verification Program’s mission is to enhance features and expand user capabilities for the Verification Information System (VIS). The VIS is the technical infrastructure that enables private employers to determine employment eligibility via E-Verify and allows federal, state, and local benefit-granting agencies to verify a benefit applicant’s immigration status via Systematic Alien Verification for Entitlements (SAVE).
