A Dozen DLA JETS Expiring Tasks Expected to Draw Interest in FY 2026

By Andréa Leichtman, VP of Opportunity Research

2025 is a year of change—and with change comes opportunity. We recognize the landscape is changing rapidly so please recognize that the information below represents a moment in time reflecting when the report was generated. This data could have changed moments after it was created. We will continue to report on the expiring tasks but please be sure to keep track of any related agency changes DOGE may enact as you build out your pipeline.

The OS AI team has received multiple inquiries from forward-looking Defense Logistics Agency J6 Enterprise Technology Services (DLA JETS) focused companies researching potential task orders and contracts that expire in fiscal year 2026. Included here we share potential recompete opportunities originally awarded on DLA JETS and are expected to draw a lot of attention.

OS AI Note – Dance Lightly. Do know that some of these potential requirements will NOT end up being recompeted for any number of reasons (e.g., contract consolidation, extension, cancellation, etc). Regardless, this list can serve as a foundation as you build out your pipeline and start to have teaming discussions.

Additionally, the new Administration and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are making changes across government agencies. OS understands the ripple effect and potential implications for the GovCon industry related to future contracting opportunities. We will continue to report on the expiring tasks but please be sure to keep track of any related agency changes DOGE may enact.

Some of the FY 2026 expiring contracts and tasks across DLA JETS expected to draw the most inquiries and interest include:

*You will note some line items have Number of Bidders listed, while some do not. This is because some of the entries made by the contracting authorities are not helpful in the way that I use it. Generally, I use number of bidders as another data point to show where true interest may lie when it comes time to competition/recompetes. In the case of DLA JETS, many line items had the total number of bidders at 117, which I have removed because it holds no intellectual value. Instead, I referred to the size and description of the work to curate the list below (not comprehensive).

For OS Sponsors, we have included below another grouping of 21 additional expiring tasks.

Pro Tip 1 – If you are a firm with capabilities and socio-economic status that might support this or any related effort, comment below and let others know you are interested. Comments are some of the most viewed portions of any post.
