Any time a 3-year $37M contract comes up for recompete, there is bound to be some interest, especially when it is the opportunity to provide cybersecurity technical and engineering support services and expertise to this key subdivision which is charged with further advancing the provision of centralized cybersecurity capabilities.

Barring a surprise change, the recompete of this contract, which as last awarded to ECS Federal in 2021, (see contract details and spend to date for contract 70RCSA21FR0000108 here) is slated to once again be competed on GSA Alliant 2, with DHS stating that the final RFP is expected to be released in March of 2024.

The technical support provided under this contract is expected to be cross-cutting along a variety of cybersecurity and engineering domains and the winning contractor will be expected to use strategic vision, leverage a diverse team of subject matter experts, be flexible in addressing emerging cybersecurity technical and engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) support requirements, and be pro-active and capable and ready to surge as requirements evolve.

More will be shared as it is made available.
