Late last week the Department of Veteran’s Affairs posted the Draft solicitation for this high-profile multiple-award contract vehicle which will provide VA with expert contractor teams that shall consistently deliver viable digital solutions in support of VA’s strategic mission and objectives.
Said Mark Junda, the VA Deputy, CTO Health Portfolio and Digital Service Acquisition SME, “Draft of SPRUCE! Really appreciate the TAC posting this when they might have a few other things going on this time of year.”
The SAM posting provides additional details stating that the specific nature of the capabilities required for each team will be articulated at the Task Order level. However, it is expected that a typical delivery team requested under the SPRUCE IDIQ will require multi-disciplinary teams with members having expertise in: product and delivery management; software and site-reliability engineering; user-centered design and research; content, accessibility, information architecture, and testing; data science and analytics; and customer support, training, and helpdesk operations.
