Fed Civilian and Health agencies such as DHS, HHS, DHA and VA leverage easy button when procuring RPA and AI services and solutions

While the recent passage of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Program Reauthorization was not surprising, it was welcome news to a number of firms and Federal agencies that have come to rely on this program for its ability to advance and more easily procure, via sole source actions in many cases, some innovative technologies developed through the SBIR programs.

In this spirit, detailed below are three FY 2022 sets of SBIR Phase III actions that caught the attention of the OrangeSlices AI analysts of late by Federal Health and Federal Civilian agencies such as Veterans Affairs (VA), the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Defense Health Agency (DHA), the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Our OS AI analysts noted these agencies procuring a number of leading-edge solutions and services in areas including Robotic Process Automation, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics to drive efforts in Citizen Services and Digital Experience; Financial Systems Management; Market Efficiency; Fraud Waste and Abuse; and procurement transformation among others.
