DecisionPoint beats out 9 to win $83M USAF Defensive Cyber Realization, Integration, and Operational Support (DCRIOS) II IDIQ

After an elongated back and forth battle, DecisionPoint Corp, a very fast growing Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with capabilities in IT Support Services, Cyber Security, Information Assurance (IA), and a range of Professional Services, has been awarded an estimated 5-year $83M firm-fixed-price task order for defensive cyber realization, integration and operational support II services. Work will be performed at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas and Scott Air Force Base, Illinois and is expected to be completed May 13, 2030.

This contract was a competitive acquisition and 10 offers were received. Fiscal year 2025 operations and maintenance funds in the amount of $437,830 are being obligated at the time of award. The Acquisition Management and Integration Center, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, is the contracting activity (FA8773-25-F-0040).

Background

The DCRIOS contract supports the 67th Cyberspace Wing (67 CW) Defense Cyberspace Operations (COO). The contract provides Cyber Protection Teams (CPT) and support functions for the 567th and 867th COG. The contract provides program development and evolution as well as tool and technology evolution. All CPT functions fall under the 67 CW, 567/867 COG. and support mission assurance using Defense Cyber Operations (DCO) capabilities in support of DoD assets. CPTs include assessing cyberspace terrain and conducting risk analysis with regard to the designated networks/systems.

The assessment and analysis include deploying, integrating and providing advanced protection capabilities, identifying adversary maneuver, and mitigating adversary operations in and across cyberspace key terrain IAW the USCYBERCOM Joint Cyberspace Training and Certification Standards (JCT&CS). The core functions of CPTs are to conduct Hunt operations, Identify tasks and objectives to be supported by CPT effects and identify and defend mission partners cyberspace key terrain and critical assets, and aid in the execution of tasks and the development and execution of the Risk Mitigation Plan (RMP), Mission Defense Plan (MOP), or other various reports developed by the CPT.
