SCOPE OF WORK
This requirement is for on-site/remote program/project management support and process improvement services for VBA software applications and systems. As OBI is a liaison office to VBA business lines, organizations, and VA’s OIT, the program/project management and process improvement support services will aid OBI in the management of business initiatives and assist in the design, implementation, modification, sustainment and portfolio management of VBA software applications and systems.
In addition, the scope includes comprehensive program/project and process improvement management support services to OBI on a variety of VBA Programs/Projects. The program/project management support shall be consistent with project management best practices, notably those specified by Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK), Software Engineering Institute’s (SEI), Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and ISO 9001 Certification, Quality Management System (QMS). Business Process Engineering Services are required to assist OBI as the coordinating body for VBA responsible for providing business process requirements for development and operations support to VA’s OI&T. IT development and non-project related administrative or clerical tasks are outside the scope of this requirement.
