The purpose of this notice is to communicate the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) intent to release a request for quotation (RFQ) for the re-compete of the Chief Information Officer’s Business Operations Support Services (CBOSS) 2.0 requirement. The forthcoming RFQ will establish a single-award BPA to acquire general information technology (IT) support, operations and maintenance support, networking services, cloud support, cybersecurity support, telecommunications support, infrastructure and shared services support for the DOE-wide enterprise. DOE anticipates awarding a single-award BPA in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 8.405-3 under the General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedule (MAS). Please continue to monitor GSA eBuy for the official RFQ posting. DOE anticipates posting the solicitation soon. Interested parties must respond on GSA eBuy. The RFQ will not be posted on SAM.gov.
The $10B DOE CBOSS 2.0 RFP is a key contract for IT vendors, supporting 79 entities across 27 states. It allows the DOE’s OCIO to outsource IT services, with the contract also available to other DOE enterprise customers under a cost-recovery model.
