The OS.ai team received several requests in the last 48 hours from businesses and product vendors looking for some potential partner options to help bid and win this Treasury Department Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation (CI) requirement to obtain support for its information technology law enforcement Management Information Systems (MIS). The MIS consists of the Criminal Investigation Management Information System (CIMIS) and the Asset Forfeiture Tracking and Retrieval (AFTRAK) System. The draft SOW was posted last week as part of a sources sought/pre-solicitation notice – more here.

Who should I partner with on this effort?

The Orange Slices BOT leverages AI and ML tools to evaluate and recommend the top ten or so Partner options to consider reaching out to, as a Prime or sub, on this contract. Included below is a list of companies that are certain to draw attention based on their success winning and delivering on similar efforts, and their past experience and sets of relationships at IRS CI.

Did OS.aiBOT miss you? If so, comment below or contact us here to be added. Do you have an opportunity you would like us to run our algorithm against? Think our algorithm stinks? Let us know – we only get better with feedback and practice.

Additional Background

CIMIS, a primary management and supervisory support tool for IRS CI, provides accurate, real-time information on CI operations, is used for “tracking the status and progress of IRS CI investigations, time expended by employees, employee information, and investigative equipment.” Closely intertwined with the CIMIS system, the AFTRAK system, a web-based application designed to track assets seized for forfeiture, evidence, and abandonment, is used as a management tool internally (locally and nationally) and for external customers of CI.
