Expiring Tasks Expected to Draw a Crowd in 2026
Things are busy and fluctuating at a fast clip. In an attempt to stay abreast of these changes, the OS AI team has received multiple inquiries from forward-looking focused companies researching potential task orders and contracts that may be competed in 2026.
You will see this information on each Expiring Task report, and since it bears repeating, please note the following:
OS AI Note – Dance Lightly. Do know that some of these potential requirements will NOT end up being recompeted for any number of reasons (e.g., contract consolidation, extension, cancellation, etc). Regardless, this list can serve as a foundation as you build out your pipeline and start to have teaming discussions.
Additionally, the new Administration and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are making changes across government agencies. OS understands the ripple effect and potential implications for the GovCon industry related to future contracting opportunities. We will continue to report on the expiring tasks but please be sure to keep track of any related agency changes DOGE may enact.
This list will continue to be added to and evolve.
